Could your restoration benefit from sandblasting?
Sandblasting is a GREAT way to restore the individual pieces of your project.
Sandblasting willl remove all of the old rust scale and the prior paint/filler that may have been applied to your parts over the years. It provides you with a "clean" surface to prime and paint that promotes excellent paint adhesion. Beyond the great results, having your parts sandblasted is:
Economical - Stop wasting money on grinding wheels, wire wheels, metal stripping chemicals, etc. It is not uncommon to spend MORE money these supplies than you would actually spend on having us sandblast parts for you!
Quick - You can spend hours (if not days) prepping a single part. Bring us your box of parts and we can typically turn them around for you within 2-3 days...And you end up with a much better surface for restoring that will last longer than if you had painted over imperfections in the metal.
Clean - Let's face it, restoring cars is a messy hobby. Many of us have invested in creating a clean and enjoyable work area. Don't fill your garage or work area with rust and grinding debris. Keep the mess out of your garage!
We have invested in the proper sandblasting equipment for our own projects and we are interested in helping you with your project. We blast with both soda (very fine media for thin metals and delicate parts) and coal slag (a larger grit, "harder" media) to provide you with a surface that is appropriate for completing your restoration process.
Common parts we blast include:
- Wheels up to 15"
- Control arms
- Interior / exterior metal trim pieces
- Exhaust components
- Small auto body parts
- Exterior engine components (intakes, exhaust manifolds, etc.)
...If your are in the southern NH or Northern MA area, contact us with your needs and we will be glad to discuss options with you or you can call us at 603-819-6310. We are located in Windham, NH, just off of exit 93 at exit 3.
