About
The 73 Camaro Build will be my 3rd total car project, although I have owned and worked on and owned many muscle cars over the years including a '77 Camaro (my 1st car), 70 big block Nova, '68 Firebird, and a '69 Firebird. My last project was a pro-touring '69 Firebird project named "WickedBird." Before this, I built a Factory Five Racing Shelby Cobra Replica in 2000 that I drove and showed for about 3 years taking 1st in Class in every show I entered (about 8 shows). When I built my Cobra, I also created a "Cobra Build Site" that detailed my progress. Over the 3-4 years that the site was live, it had received over 300,000 views and became a valuable resource for many others building Factory Five Cobras.
The pro-touring Firebird project was a bit more ambitious and included quite a few enhancements like a totally rebuilt shell, aftermarket sub frame, Wilwood brakes, Ford 9" rear end, custom interior, Tremec TKO tranny, and a 525hp 455.

Our Story
We are not mechanics, just car enthusiasts. My interest in cars began at an early age. I grew up about 3 blocks from the famed Oswego Speedway in Oswego, NY watching Modifieds and Supermodifieds race. Whether it was watching the races, racing our own "gigs" down the hills of Oswego (pictured at left), racing bicycles , racing sprint cars, or racing dirt bikes, motor sports have almost always been a part of my life.
We now have quite a large "build team" as we have just brought two families together. What better way to spend time together than building a car and then taking it to the track together?! We all enjoy cars and working on them, although there is definitely a Ford/Chevy division within the family. I am sure that our next project will be a Ford project...regardless of what my opinion is! Our 1st project was going to VA to pick up a '70 Camaro parts car and then totally dismantling it. Next up was the garage makeover (see the Build Blog) and then onto the '73 Camaro.
If you are ever in Southern NH or Northern MA, feel free to contact us, we always enjoy talking cars! We are located in Windham, NH...see the interactive map below to locate us:
